Our view: More than education is needed to make this world a better place

Today’s state of affairs is what happens when educated people lose touch with their innate understanding of what constitutes success and personal fulfillment.

We believe that education, when combined with an appreciation for life and the possibility of peace, empowers an individual to make choices that benefit all humanity.

The peace initiative we support

“When people in the world are at peace within, the world will be at peace.”      ~Prem Rawat

Words of Peace Global (wopg.org) is an international charitable foundation, founded in the Netherlands, which promotes a message of hope in a time of rapid change and turmoil. WOPG features addresses by Prem Rawat, who points to the possibility that each individual can find peace within, regardless of circumstance. Prem Rawat has spoken about peace at venues ranging from remote villages to universities, prisons halls to large arenas; he also supports humanitarian initiatives. WOPG makes his message accessible through live events, webcasts, and TV series to people from diverse backgrounds throughout the world.

We also like Words of Peace Global because of its non-religious agenda and low administrative overhead.

Use books to support peace
